TyRex Halloween Celebration 2017
On Tuesday, Oct. 31, the TyRex Family came together for another year of creative competition as pumpkins were decorated and/or carved in hopes of being named “The Great Pumpkin” and family members competed against one another in a costume contest. The entries for both contests were absolutely outstanding! Winners were announced at the TyRex Halloween celebration where all the companies came together for wicked treats and great fun. A wide-ranging panel of secret judges selected the top three pumpkin creations as well as the costume winners.
In terms of costumes, April Gurney of Megladon took 3rd place (dressing up as Thing 2 from Dr. Seuss), while Alma Valdez Martinez of Megladon finished second (dressed as zombie baby-mama) and Amy Moore of TyRex (coming dressed as her boss) claimed first-place honors.
As for the pumpkins, April scored another third-place prize with her Jack-in-the-Box creation, while second place was awarded to Jaime Downing of iRex for her Pinhead pumpkin from the movie Hellraiser. “The Great Pumpkin” was then bestowed upon the pumpkin replica of PennyWise from the movie IT created by Amy Bosch of DLi.
